Much is made of Paul Geremia's devotion to the giants of the acoustic
blues that he has encountered over four decades and more of playing
and traveling. But as his 10 cds to date clearly tell, he was developing
his own individual signature within the blues idiom on both 6 and
12 string guitars even as he was learning from his mentors. His
lyrics arise from a clear and unsentimental view of modern
living and he's got a duffel bag of stories to share.
Paul's most
recent album is the 2004 Red House Records release, Love,
Murder and Mosquitoes. Rolling Stone magazine claims "At some future
date young aspiring singers will be collecting old Paul Geremia
records! One of the finest blues artists in a long time."
Paul
has moved to Texas and so doesn't come around quite as often. You
won't want to miss this appearance.
