Tim Harrison is one of Canada's finest singers and songwriters
whose poignant themes and vivid images reveal him as a storyteller
of our time, "an archetypal traveller singing with compassion
and hope."
Tim made his debut in 1979 with the appearance
of the much heralded recording, Train Going
East, produced
by Stan Rogers and engineered by Daniel Lanois. Since then, he
has recorded 7 collections of songs including Wheatfield
With Crows (2003) and Grey County (2004) which
both placed Tim in the top 10 of Canadian folk musicians receiving
international airplay. He is currently recording a new collection
of songs due for release in the Fall, 2006.
Tim is a commanding
presence on stage with his mix of beguiling songs, intricate guitar
picking, story telling and humor.
