In the early days of the Newport Folk Festival, Geoff earned a reputation as the charmer in the Kweskin’s Jug Band with his sweet, cherry tone and quiet intensity. A capable picker and arranger as well, he always gets a warm welcome when he returns to the Gold Lamé Stage. Richard Thompson comments that “There are only three white blues singers -- Geoff Muldaur is at least two of them.” He is returning for the fifth time.
